Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 27, 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how MSP Compared ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with MSP Compared, available at mspcompared.com (the "Site"). Questions, requests, and corrections can be sent to [email protected].

1. What we collect

The Site is a public editorial resource. We do not currently provide user accounts, subscriptions, or a checkout flow. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and message.

Like most websites, our hosting and security systems may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, requested pages, timestamps, and basic error or security data. We use this information to operate, secure, and maintain the Site.

2. Analytics and privacy choices

Optional analytics are disabled until you select “Accept analytics” in the privacy-choice notice. If you accept, Google Analytics may receive information about visits and page use. The Site may also use PostHog for an affiliate-click event when that event is enabled and you have accepted analytics. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using “Privacy choices” in the footer; browser controls can also manage local storage and cookies.

Cloudflare Insights or similar security and performance services may process limited technical request data when enabled by our hosting or CDN configuration. These services are not used to change our rankings.

3. Affiliate and partner links

Some outbound links may be affiliate or partner links. When you choose to follow one, the destination vendor or an affiliate network may receive information needed to record the referral, such as the referring page, link identifier, and technical request data. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy notices and program terms. We do not receive your payment details from a vendor merely because you follow a link.

4. How we use information

5. When we share information

We share information with service providers that help host, secure, measure, or maintain the Site, and with vendors or affiliate networks when you choose to follow their links. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information as a standalone data product.

6. Retention and security

We retain messages, technical logs, and optional analytics information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, and business records. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request or withdraw an analytics choice, email [email protected]. We will consider and respond to requests as required by applicable law.

8. Children

The Site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this Notice as the Site, vendors, or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.

10. Contact

Privacy questions, data requests, and corrections should be sent to [email protected]. You can also visit our contact page.
