Intercept X from Sophos is great at detecting before the intrusion. It has a very high success rate so it leaves you feeling confident with the solution.
It has been good, although there is a very steep learning curve and can be off-putting to some end users.
The agent runs heavy on workstations and in many cases, has pushed us to upgrade to m.2 drives for machines that otherwise didn't need them.
The biggest con is that the price constantly increases year over year and never seems to slow down. It sort of forces you to pay more than what you budget for.
